2006 Daytona round 1

Bad luck for the Memphis Shades Yamaha folks in Round 1 of the singles flat track.?

Robbie Pearson was able to work his way up to the semi finals but fell and did not transfer to the main.

JR Schanbel made it to the main and looked very strong in the early laps but something happened with the early leaders and JR finished 10 laps down.

The Memphis Shades entry? was the only Yamaha to transfer to the main.? Tomorrow night is round 2 of the singles.?

Hopefully this is all just warm-up stuff for the twins series when JR and Robbie will be riding Memphis Shades Visions.? Exciting times to be a Vision owner, but I expect TDUB is a little disappointed.

No Lucky, not at Daytona this year.? I was, however, able to pick up the race live at the following AMA site:

Tonite's Round 2 Heat races start at 8:00 pm EST and the Main is at 10:00 pm EST.? It's still just the singles - no Visions.
