Just thought I'd like to document some of the bikes I've had over the years,
maybe see what everyone else is riding if they aren't out on the vision.
this one goes back a ways, 94 BMW K75
quirky bike, some really good elements, some not so good.

Ron, what negatives did you find with the K75? I've never ridden one but I did try a K100 'around the block'. It was a bit heavier than my then 650 Seca. I had always heard good things about the K75, but maybe that was just in comparison with the K100.
After that one left the barn, this caught my interest.
what a fine beast, I called her big bertha and for good reason.

Hey Mike,
well in this case, the aluminum tank had corroded out and become like swiss cheese in a very short time after I acquired it,
being a shorter guy that I am, there was a lot to appreciate, butter smooth and a low cg made it a fun ride
but the quirky turn signals and the age of the bike had me wondering about the reliability and well, I own a vision lol.
I didn't need more projects. Still, it was hard to sell it because I really liked it.

What is that Honda? What sort of motor is that?
Your pictures are way too big to see what you are trying to show us.
Kevin, can you scroll down to the gray bar at the bottom of the pic? Your cursor on that bar and slide it sideways to move the pic. Yeah, big pics but you get some detail.
Ron,
How do you find the Predators? They look really good.
Is it the road legal or the competition version? Did you need to re-jet?

that is a 2004 Honda ST1300 V4
brilliant engine, butter smooth, like a sewing machine if a little on the heavy side.
sorry for the big pictures, try this one

thanks, 3rd set of Predators for me, they have never let me down, quality craftsmanship.
I sold the other 2 bikes with them, probably should have hung onto them but that's the way it went.
Yes, the street legal version, sound fantastic, did not rejet this bike although I did on the first bike.
it probably wasn't needed.

So, after the Honda left the nest I thought I would maybe try a cruiser.
yeah, I know but., I always wondered what the big draw was.
here she is the Kawi vn900
it's fine, a little awkward. strange sitting in a funny position,
it runs well, but still not sure what the big draw is.
Have two 82 visions, one black and one red, all stock except for shocks, one Ohlins one Fox from the 80's, rebuilt in early 2000's. Also have a Ducati900ss/sp, 1996 and just got a BMW r65,1979. the R65 is very similar in power and handling to the Vision and is lighter feeling because of the low center of gravity. First ride today about 150 miles in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, here in California.
