Bad compression: Front sparkplug loosened up and blew out, L shaped electrode ground broke off into the cylinder, either holing the piston or getting stuck in a valve (probably stuck in a valve)

What'd be involved in finding out what killed the front cylinder?

sorry , just had to


run wet and dry compression test, that will give you idea where to start---
  can almost bet front cyl is dead in the tci, and bike is just fine other than that.
if nothing else, the bike looks as if it will part out quite well, and you too can open a parts shop ,like tiger !
keep your bike running,your beer cold ,and your passport handy.all are like money in the bank .

rev limiter wire is not cut and it is malfunctioning?

Bad or disconnected coil?
