Hi all, I bought my vision last year from a friend of mine, shortly there after I developed an oil leak from the left hand motor cover, I got a new gasket and am ready to install it . My question is, is there a specific order I need to tighten the bolts back up???

i'm emailing you a scan of the tightening sequence. i already mentioned the yamabond right? (i'm so busy i'm addled!)

Of course, I'd go first with what Lucky's sending you.

But when you're lacking in a tightening sequence, the general idea is to 'walk' your way around the bolts, snugging down just a bit at a time.

For example, if there's 5 bolts, I'd tighten in this order -
1, 3, 5, 2, 4.   Or maybe   1, 4, 2, 5, 3.
Sort of depends on the shape and location - about the only place I really see bolts evenly spaced is on a wheel. :)

Basically, just repeat this pattern, snugging down gently as you go, until you start to approach the torques required.
