round headlight - RD350 or RZ350?

I remember reading the RZ350 headlight is a drop in for the Vision. Is that also true for the RD350?

RD350 was back in the 70's. As where the RZ was made about the same time as the Vision. The forks on the RZ and Vision are the same size...while the RD is NOT. I do not think it's worth the attempt. Also the RD you cannot put a Quartz halogen light in as easily as the RZ came stock with it...I think.

I just ordered a RD350 headlight. Says it is 8" between the mounting holes, so in theory it should fit. Will post here how it goes. I also saw headlights for RDs that are 6.5 inches. Not sure what is going on, but I thought somewhere here in the forum it was said that 8" should fit just fine.

If it doesnt work out, my vision came with a round head light bucket.  Your welcome to it.  It's chrome and i can get some pic's dimensions for you
