Other stators that fit our bikes

Are there any bikes the use the same stator as ours that can be pulled off the other bike and put directly into ours with little modification??

there are a few...if you check the electrex site you can just cross reference the stator number with what bikes use them..


but in all honesty..if you take an old stator from another bike..your just asking for trouble and a headache.  All other bikes that have our stator are seeming to have the same problems as us.  You'd just be better off buying one from electrex and getting the 1 year warranty.  in the end it really DOES save you money.  youd just end up paying the same amount for old used stators in the amount of time that your new one would last you.

One is the Yamaha Virago , it does not have as high a failure rate as the Yision , but uses the same stator and RR.
