'82 Front fairings

i started this over in the swap shop but thought i would get more responses here.

Basically  

Yamaha XS650 is a direct replacement for our headlight bucket and SHOULD just bolt in (i held one from my 650 up to it and it fit..but didnt bolt it in.)
but with that... id say look for an XS650 fairing.  those things are wildly popular and they actually still make new parts for them.  try www.650motorcycles.com..  you can pretty much find whatever you want there, or at least use that as a starting point.

Has anyone tried or know if Blake's suggestion has worked?
maybe this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35583&item=2483452554&rd=1 He said he wasn't sure about the screen hitting the handlebars.  What about other options?  I would like to switch to a round headlight anyways and think this would give the vision a good look.
