I've had SmokeBomb on the road since May, close to 4k remarkable miles.....

but so far... (outside of the mutual compliments at the August OnROV ride)
nobody has really complimented, questioned, or taken notice of my Vision 

until tonight... I was out for a quick ride late this afternoon, since the sun finally came out this glorious "Ernesto" Day weekend.... and it happened.....

I was riding along a ridge.. sun was starting to set.... I looked down in a small valley, and.....

there was this lone brown cow standing outside of the herd....
we made eye contact and I swear he (or she?) smiled as I cruised by...
we must have held eye contact for a 1/4 mile or so.... both us turning our heads as I passed.....

:'( (sniff) It was a beautiful thing..... what a great weekend  ;D

i suppose if we get too involved with our bikes we become "Vision nerds"??  :o

oh brother
82 with fairing, rejetted, 83 turbo seca fork and brakes coming whenver I acquire the rest of the parts, and she stops breaking long enough to be in the garage for an upgrade instead of a repair.

Talk about digressing to bovine scattology!
If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

That stuff is slick on pavement, too!
If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

Yep, I took a dump (punny) on my bicycle on Mackinac Island, Mi because of road pie. I made it through the pie, it's just that it sticks to your tires then has the consistency of peanut butter with WD40!
