Gap size for plugs? Looked around but couldn't find it. If anyone is out there, PLEASE, let me know. Thanks again.
My experience has been that plugs come out of the box correctly gapped. Anyway, .26 thousandths is the data you requested. FYI, Vs are extremely easy on plugs. My '83 has gone 40,000 miles on one set with no issues. When they came out they looked like a good wire brushing and regapping would yield at least another 20,000. This is really not all that unusual. Many modern 4 valve engines produce similar results. Perhaps you've heard of claims of 100,000 miles between tune-ups on some cars? Not burning leaded fuel really makes a big differance. Cheers.
Thanks for that. This bike has been sitting , so I want to give a fresh start. Plugs are easy, cheap. Well, back to the bke.
Just reread my post. .26 thousandths should be 26 thousandths of an inch.
