I think the front brake switch at the handlebars is playing up. I can't see how to remove it without breaking it. Does anyone have a method to do this please.

When looking at the brake master cylinder from underneath, you should see a small hole where the brake switch sits.
Use a small screwdriver and push it in  that hole, and pull out the switch.

It doesnt take much force, so dont pull too hard

Thanks for that will try tomm. I presume you just gently pull on the wires and it pulls out towards the rear.
(sorry that sounded terrible).

Pull gently, in the direction of the wires, but pull on the switch housing
