Fan question

Quick question--My fan comes on via the thermoswitch after I turn off the ignition.  It cools quickly and stops, but I don't like any fan running when the bike is supposed to be off. Is this normal, or is the fan relay shot?

As designed.  Fear not.  It's doing what it's supposed to do.

My fear is more of burning through the battery and not starting due to a unnecessary design feature.  Has anyone done a re-wire?

The fan thermo switch is doing it's job correctly. As long as you have a decent battery on your Vision, fan run on should never be an issue :)
