83 fairing and taller risers issue?

Clearview's website not too helpful, very basic - just call the 800 number. I got the owner, Craig, who was extremely helpful.

I have the shorter 83 risers on my 82, and I rememer fooling around with the 82 bars on the 83 risers. I'm 80% sure they fit, but I can't recall what the differences were (it's been 2 years).

Anyone else have both sets that could do a bar comparison? Now I'm curious.

You need a spare top tree and set of original handlebars(clamps) and cut them. So only the fork is clamped. And get some handlebar mounts from an old Yami XS400. Drill some holes in the triple tree. Then put on a bar that fits.
