the project bike's swingarm side clearance is quite a bit out of spec.. over 0.5mm.

I was surprised to see that the side clearance spec on the 82 is 0.1-0.3mm, but the spec on the 83 is a generous 1.0mm  ???  hmm, wonder why that is? prolly not as critical with that big ole windblock on the front  ;)

the bushing has visible markings from the needle bearings, much like the detents in the steering head races from the ball bearings

So..along with new bearings, I'll also get a new bushing and thicker thrust washers to bring it into spec ... total for all should be less than $75..
