Cleaned up my oil slick and another project on the horizon.

After I did my starter a few months ago the whole garage became an oil slick.  I had moved on to another project with my car and then another one with my ATV so the Vision kind of sat or I rode it with the leak to keep things running.

Anyway, I finally broke down and did the job today.  The MAC exhaust is tight down by the starter, so I have to remove the front cylinder manifold bolts to get enough clearance to remove the starter.  When I went to pop the O ring off it just fell off and was broken.  I ordered a bunch of O rings based on a post here and put a new one in and oil leak is fixed.  Based on the amount of oil that flowed out, Yamaha was really close to getting the starter above sea level.  Close, but no cigar.

So I'm back...

Next up.  I have all NOS plastics and gas tank that I'm going to do soon.  The tank is brand new, but I'm going to do a POR-15 treatment as a preventative measure since all the fuel around here is horrible E10 that attracts lots of water in my humid environment.
