Title: 83 carb gasket
Post by: Lucky on August 06, 2002, 08:53:10 PM
I am in need of an 83 carb gasket, both if their different (I forget..)  I don't care if their old and dried up as long as their in one piece.  As you may know I offer a rebuild service for Vision carbs and have now done the better part of a bakers dozen.

All but two have been 82's, and i've been recording all the particulars such as o-ring sizes, photocopies of gasketts, avg pilot turns, etc.   the two 83's i did were early on and I haven't recorded any info on them.  i'd like to photocopy the 83 gaskett for future referance.
Thanks, --Lucky

Lucky, That.005 gasket material is a lot thinner than the original ones. The originals are 10 times thicker .050+. Or did you mean .05"?

Nice catch, that kind of typo i call "fat fingers".  it should read .05.  I'm still in need of one if anyone has one.
