Title: MAC Muffler help
Post by: Dave_A on May 10, 2008, 03:41:24 AM
Well, I got a set of MAC mufflers for my bike off Ebay...

Problem?

The seller did not include the entire system - he sent JUST the mufflers (eg no front pipe, no mounting HW)....

So, what to do about this?

hmmm....
Do you feel like the seller misrepresented the auction?

Go back and check the listing.  You may have recourse via Ebay's system.

If you find that it was you that made the mistake. I would go over to www.macperformance.com and see what they might be able to do to help.  They sell the system as a whole but if you can speak to someone you may be able to work it out.

Good luck

Mac sells the front pipe for $129.

Hey Dave, I'd be really interested to hear what you find when/if you call the folks at Mac. The bike I just bought came with the Mac exhaust in a box (not the original box) and I don't see any of the mounting hardware for it, so I'll probably need to give them a call too.

First things first though, tank, carbs, stator... :-)

If you could post what you find out, that'd be great.
