would like to know what engine serial # designates 83 and anyone know canadian models
If I recall correctly an H stands for 82. It would be the third digit of the vin# and in 83 the H is replaced by another letter but I cant remember which letter. There is a post not too long ago where one of the resident experts break the whole thing down. But I cant find it now. Also welcome to the forums. ;D

the tenth digit will either be c, or d. c being 82 d being 83 those digits will tell you what cams are in that motor 83s having the extra hp #s have not dyno these motors but anyone riding both models will have to put a hicky on the 83 seat or pull the seat out from the crack of there behind
