This is a picture of my girl friend at the time and now wife, Carol, on her first trip to the Isle of Man in 1997 (?) right before her first ever ride on a motorcycle. I fell in love with her, she fell in love with me, then with riding motorcycles in exotic places and the rest is history. I told her that everyone would be wearing leather so she borrowed this "Fashion Leather" jacket about as substantial as tissue paper.
I kept the Vision over there from 1993 until 2010. I rode it to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Switzerland and Italy. I rode it in the IOM and only got stopped once for the 1992 Georgia plate.
I'm getting the Vision home to Mexico before the end of the year. I would be big money ahead if I had just pushed it off into the Irish Sea but what fun would that be?
