hey guys looking for a part straight key part number 90282-07051-00 ive had no luck ebay marine shops and Yamaha dealers have nothing available . any ideas ? other than making one out of key stock .

Did your original key get sheared off, or did it just get lost? Either way you can fit another key if you have the patience. My thinking is the key just holds the rotor in place while the nut or bolt is tightened to spec and holds everything solid on the taper of the shaft. Clean mating surfaces of the taper are critical to this system working well. The key is a little thing so easily overlooked for it's importance, but not impossible to "make" if need be.
