Title: Needle and seat inspection
Post by: VisionWC on March 07, 2021, 05:40:16 PM
I want to check my needle and seats (over flowing from vent tubes, stalling at lower RPMs) but I'm wondering if that can be done with the carbs on the bike? If I remove the carbs, will that mess with the balance? I don't think they need a full rebuild but the stalling problem is getting worse and they started leaking from the overflows so I'm guessing it's a needle / seat issue

Thanks in advance!

Jim

This sounds like maybe float level needs to be adjusted. :police:

You may have a piece of dirt or rust lodged in one or both of them causing them to leak gas by.
