Well, since the motorcycle season in New Hampshire is winding down, and wanting to get a few more rides in, I made a temporary fix for my broken synq rod.... I revisited the turnbuckle idea I had. I drilled out the one hole that requires a left hand bolt and then re-threaded it with a slightly larger thumb screw, drilled out the holes... and here it is:

Couple of down sides to this "invention"... there are two lock nuts on this, so to synq them, it's a little more difficult. Also, I did not have the correct drill bit for the holes so it does have a little slack in it. The up side... I can get a few more rides in until I get a replacement synq rod AND no more throttle sticking ;D
