sure...just condone the trashing and dismemberment of poor defenseless 82's. you're probably in on it. ;D

A moment of silence is in order. The bad thing about it is it's more than one bike. It's like a village of Visions have been hacked up! ::)
Mutt
There are parts from at least three. :'( The least he could have done is try to separate some of the parts so he could ship them. Florida & it's pick-up or he will deliver for an additional fee. Kind of limits who can get them. There's quite a few things there I'd like to have but I can justify neither the delivery nor pick-up charges from my house.
In his defense, he has been putting some of the parts on eBay & offering to send them out. I recognize the seller name. (kind of a tough one to forget) Maybe we could all get together, buy the lot & have one of our Southeastern Visionaries store the parts. Then when one of us wanted something, we could pay the postage & a bit of handling / storage fee to whoever is nice enough to do it.
$350 for the lot seems a little steep but there is a lot of stuff there.

HOLLY FREAKIN COW! :o It just hit me....I might be driving through that area this weekend to go to a high school band competition in St. Petersburg! I completely forgot about that until H20 mentioned southeastern visionaries! I was even thinking about driving my truck. The only thing is I'm not prepared to pay the cost for the entire lot.....what to do what to do?
Mutt :P
I'll chip in some $ to help out. How many others are willing to help out & make a donation so we can have access to all these parts? I'm mainly interested in some of the engine & trim parts. Second V project starts this afternoon & I have some 'ideas' I want to try. :-X

I don't really need anything and I'm not a parts hoarder (is that a word?). I would be happy to ship to all that needed the parts. Only charge would be shipping/packaging. I'm only looking to help out in a "Tiger" sort of way. It just so happens I'm going through that exact area this coming weekend.
Mutt
:'(.....SAD..... :'(, I dont see this "lot" going for any-where near the asking price. However, Mutt offer him $100.00 :o and tell him you will pick-up... ::)...see what he thinks. I'll be willing to help out a wee bit with some $$$ and I'm sure some more of the southern ROV family will chip in to save these part's for use by Visionaries....... ;)
;).......TIGER....... 8)
i want to tip in, but with poor bike rally attendance( under the projected 60,000 visitors due to rain)and a daughter that just got appendix out(now has nasty uper repiratory infection, thanks to nurse on duty passing that along) i am having to cover her bills as well as our own house bills, ,,, a bit hard on wallet. can chip in later,, sort of as a help to whoever stores it all ----???
Wow.... Vision for sale... some assembly required :-[

I'm at school right now but as soon as I get home I'll shoot him an email and see if he'll go for 100.00. I'll post response.
Mutt :)
Even though I am not sure I will use any parts, I'll chip in some cash (not a lot mind you, but some).
Brian
I've sent a message. I'll post response.

$350? :o I don't even pay that for complete, non-disassembled, sort-of-almost-running Visons! Ouch!

if you can get him to go lower I can chip in a lil bit
Here's the response....what do you guys think?
Hi, my original buy it now price was a lot higher, at $350. But I do really need to get rid of these parts, so i'll give it all to you for $150 if you can pick it up this weekend. Would you be coming on Saturday or Sunday? Please let me know your best estimate of when you think you'll be here, I have a work scedule we may have to work around. I will end the auction as soon as I get a response to comfirm you can deifnatly make it this weekend. Thanks, Matt.
Mutt :)
personally, I didn't see anything in the lot that I'd be interested in.
If there were three sets of TCI's, R&R's, relays, one fork brace and an 83 shock, then I would say HELL YEAH
I think you'll end up with triples of parts that don't get replaced very often or are not in demand.
I could use a rear y-pipe and a set of rearsets(?) the part that holds the rear pegs and exhaust
Well, Ill be picking the parts up this weekend and bringing them home....all of them. I'll post pictures and list what's available after I get back so we can deal these parts out to whom ever needs them.
Mutt :)
awesome!
sorry haunter i forgot you wanted those. can still send them to you if you want.
Thanks, Mutt!
I'll be wanting some of that haul.
There are a lot of good sellable part's...A set of

I think I actually saw some starter parts in one of the pics.

Well, I have just returned from St. Petersburg, Florida, land of the newly wed and the nearly dead! I forgot just how much I hated driving around that place. Too many red lights and old drivers for me.
Anyway, my truck sits in the driveway loaded down full of Vision carnage. Sometime tomorrow I will unload and see what we have exactly. Everything was packed in boxes with the exception of the frame and a couple of other parts. He had a gas tank there that I remember seeing on eBay recently. He said it's sold. Whoever bought it, I hope you didn't pay too much....that's all I got to say about that.
Long ride with a good find.
One tired....Mutt :P
:)...Well done Mutt... 8)
you are a gentleman and a scholar
You should have seen the look on my wife's face as I loaded all this stuff in the back. It completly filled up the back of the truck. The look on her face when we brought out the frame was very memorable. It didn't help things that we rode around for almost 2 hours looking for his house...knowing we had about a 10 hour ride once we got back to the interstate :P. Mapquest let me down once again. :-\ I think my wife is slowly forgiving me. At least we're still sleeping in the same room. That's a plus.
I'll start packing things up and moving them out this week. I'll go through the messages thus far and ask each person their addresses ect.
Mutt :)

Hmmmm, with all the parts that you have now, you and tiger can merge into tiger-n-mutts (well that one sounds a bit funny) or mutt-n-tigers vision parts emporium international. ;D

The only problem is my wife will be asking daily what I shipped today. She's convinced I'll be storing parts until we're put in an old folks home.
I was standing in the garage with my 8 year old this morning. He was looking over all the parts and the frame and he says "
so Dad, how long is it going to take you to put this one together"? He was thinking I would put one together for him. Future riding partner for sure! :) He don't know it yet but Santa has a nice surprise for him. It involves a helment and padding! :P

Mutt -
The only part I absolutely need right now is a battery box (inner part - where R/R attaches). I'll let folks who need other parts select them & then will pick over what's left. I'm hoping there will be some engine parts remaining. Things like cylinders, pistons, heads, cams, cranks & rods. If I'm going to put V2 on the track at all, I may need some spares . . ..
