There are a couple different ones that show up regularly on E-bay. One is a three piece with the name 'Daytona' on it and the other is a 5 piece. These are a forged aluminum brace, CC Products also made a tube steel brace for the Vision but I have not seen one of these for some time. I had one of these on my 82. Both usually sell for around $30.00 each, just watch and I am sure that you will find one. I am going to order the 3 piece version the next time they appear.

I just pulled a fork brace off one of my 83 models for fork servicing, and it says BMW on it. I'm sure it's a factory accessory for an old airhead beemer. I'll check it closer later today and see if it has any numbers on it, and let you know. Ride on.

For anyone interested in a fork brace. The one I took off my 83 simply says BMW, and in English says Made in Germany. It is black, aluminum, and has no other ID marks on it. I expect the BMW Owners club would be of some help on these units, and if someone you speak to asks, it's for 35mm forks, with 150mm between the legs, so I guess it's for fork legs 185 mm center to center. OK hope this helps someone.
