I finished ripping the carbs apart last night.  While inspecting one the of the needles I noticed one of the o-rings was shot.  Now I can't figure out from the pics what the name needle of it is, sorry.  Can I get one of those o-rings or will I have to get new needles?

A really good, old fashoned hardware store should have both the o-rings for the needle & seat (under the float) and the pilot screw o-ring. the one near me does, although the pilot one is slightly thicker, it works fine.(gotta be what? .10 cents?)

I can get you either one if you need me to. I even have some good used ones for the pilot screws you can have free.

let me try a few hardware stores in town and I'll let you know what I find.
It freaked the hell outa me when I looked at the neddles.  I was thinking, "great, just another f*ing piece I probably wont be able to find" and then cussed some more.  Once again I'm glad I have you guys.

On a postive note the bike is somewhat back together.  Once the carbs are finished and the tank is dry, its time to push a button and see what happens.

Thanks

are you guys refering to the hard fiber washers?  just be sure and measure the  float level for reference, that way if the new washers are different you can make the level correct. bend the steel that contacts the needle to change float hieght . be carefull not to bend against the needle itself, or you will make a groove in the rubber..

also don't over loook the caps oon the bottom of the bowls where the low speed jets are, they are hard to loosen but well worth getting those tiny jets spotless..   good luck, take extra time it will payoff in correct running.  it's  a bitch to take the off a second time

Thanks for the info.  I double checked and I did pulled those off as well.
I was able to get the o-rings this afternoon and I rigged a way to fix the t-conntecter to the drain.
