The  Brake overhaul procedure: has it been documented?
I have noticed a few of you have chenged the 82 FRONT brakes to 83 front brakes? why? is this due to the 83 brakes being dual or something?
Has anyone done a step by step with PHOTOS on this fixx?
seems the brake changeout would be an ideal time for tires and bearings. the brace too if one could be found.
is the five piece brace"worth it"?
Do you LOCKTITE the brace together and then tighten it up? seems like overkill.?

No one has documented this (to the best of my knowledge) , and the reason is that very few will do it , because the componants to do it are somewhat rare.
Actually the dual disc set up  is not much more effictive  than the single , due to the smaller discs . I put  a 2 piston caliper on mine and  this mod improved the braking quite a bit . Still the dual discs look neat and the front end appears better balanced.
The five piece brace is the single most worthwile  addition you can make  , right up there with clean carbs and a new ststor LOL.

That two piston caliper for front brakes sounds cool.
Can you tell me a bit about that?
I wish to refurbish my back brakes as well.
I should redo the wheel bearings also.
any info or pointers on those subject would be  appreciated.
I miss being in the wind. :-/
