It may be an empty ground as some have suggested or you have some non-standard wiring going on. Where are the grounds to the front turn signals connected? Are there two double female connectors or just the currently unused one?

Does the connector look this this?

 :) The double (Black wire) female bullet connection is the ground/earth for the front signal indicators. The single (Black wire) female bullet connection is the ground/earth for the headlight... ;)

Thanks QBS. I'm in the process of recording some more tunes that've been rattling around in my head. :-D

Yep, I just double checked everything. I have no left over wires except for that female double connector. If I crash and the airbag doesn't deploy, that's probably it!  :laugh:
