Where should I spray starting fluid, actually I just thought of a spot, into one of the air intake openings for a vaccum signal.  Any other easy spots?  It is right around freezing here in ND :'(.

DON'T use Starting fluid ! if you need to prime  it, used gum out carb spray or gasoline in a  pump can . This is what the pros use.

When I lived in MN , it had a few hard starting episodes, so I added  two neoprene hoses that extend from just under the crown  and penetrate  two holes  drilled in to the air box and terminate  the hosees about 1 inch above the carb throats. Give it a 4 or 5 second shot in each tube  or 4 pumps on the pump can. Below 40 deg f it pays tio jump it from a car battery. (car engine NOT running) I ride all year here  and this is the  way to save your starter.

WD40, useful for much but lubrication, can be a soft starter fluid in a pinch.  it has a butane component.  diesel starter fluid hits pretty hard and can be hard on your rod bearings
