meetings?

Well,

Last year we ATTEMPTED to have a get together at the mid-ohio classic days last summer sometime in july, but i dont know how well that worked out.  I really wanted to go, but wasnt able to.  Plus, if i remember correctly, there wasnt any real meeting, just rather "hope to see you there."  but i may be wrong.  One thing i'd REALLY like to see this year is a get together, but something where we all will definately meet up and maybe take a ride around for the day (that'll be a sight.  get a NICE big group of V's together). Me probably being one of the youngest guys here and heading off to college at the end of this summer, i think it would be a great idea to finally meet some of you who we always talk to but never got a chance to meet.


Anyone be up for a mid-summer meeting somewhere?   I'm over here in Northern Virginia (near DC) and STILL have NEVER seen another vision. (well..i THINK i MAY have saw one a few years back..but i was in a rush to get to work, and didnt get a good look).

hey mutantz,
i too live in the sf bay area, i have had my V for about a year now and i have only  seen 2 other visions around, a grey one that was sitting at a shop, and a maroon one parked in the marina bout a block away from my work. I ride a white one with blue rally stripes on it i just put a maroon sports fairing on it. How long have u had ur V for ? Maybe if we can get all the Bay Area visions together we could get a riding group or somehting.

 If you want to see another v bike just run down(south)17 a couple hours......Or if I get another trip up to Baltimore from here in Chesapeake I'll stop by..

Cool,you would know mine,its all black someone even painted the engine black,but my bike sticks out like a sore thumb as its got a tiger seat cover that i made out of a piece of the stuff i found i going to post some pics in the gallery

actualy one of these next weeks i might be taking a trip down to hampton to see a friend of mine i havent seen in 5 or so years.  was planning on taking the vision anyway since i can move faster on it.  i might as well make a little "pit stop".

Four of us met at Mid-Ohio last year and yes, basically it was a BS session while we sat around a talked Visions for a few hours. As I remember it was me, John Kadner, Dale Knox and Mike (forget last name, but he had an 82 with the factory-added83 fairing in the red color...pretty rare)
I have a few pictures of us on our bikes.
If interested, I can email them to Jeff. Mid-Ohio is a GREAT place for a future meeting. Unimaginable amount of various hardware riding around and non-stop vintage racing to-boot. I entered my V in the vintage show the year before and got a top-10 placing, with most of the onlookers not having a CLUE what in the hell it was.
