Solution to unrideable Vision

Ok, call me a traitor! I just got a '92 TDM 850 on Ebay. I guess I am just a sucker for unusual Yamahas. I'm going to Indiana to pick it up this week. I'm still keeping the Vision but I need something to ride while waiting for a petcock fix. I got a pretty hefty scare yesterday at the gas station, I had just filled the tank, went in to pay and when I got back to the bike, there was a total idiot smoking a cigarette while gassing up her car! Insane!

I shit you not, i saw this last year:
some dumb S.O.B. actually used a disposable lighter to prop the dispenser handle open so he could go yell at his kid in the back seat...

I have to weld fuel tanks up now & again , even after all the washing etc , they still scare the crap out of me
People just dont realise how much bang is wrapped up in a bit of fuel  :o

Now if everyone used those engines that run on water, we wouldn't have to worry about the high flamability of gasoline in our cars!

I will definitely let you know how the TDM turns out, I think It will be like a newer Vision, just not a 'V' twin.
