the starter body seals are nothing special, just big square cut orings. if you have starter out and apart, take the middle section to lowes or home depot, or really any good hardware store, you can find a set to go on there, not really hard to find a match.  just remember, when you put starte together, just snug the long screws, they dont have to be "arnold tight", just enough to make you feel secure in the assembly.

Hey Tiger, you are awesome, thanks.  It is the square cut o-rings that are missing.  Thanks for the tip kia... I'll pull it out and do the whole maintenance together and do it right.

 Tiff, you are off to a good start. I have the orings for the starter nosepiece. Yamaha thinks they are solid gold. Let me know if you need one.
