With the tank full to the brim and sitting on the work table, how many gallons should it drain when on "Prime".

The best I've been able to get is a little over two gallons.  I've been all over/around/into the fuel petcock.  That thing is so clean you could drink (water, of course) out of it.

Is this normal and is the remaining 2 gallons or so only available with the help of the fuel pump?  Help!!!

Cheers.

I just drained mine this weekend, and with it still on the bike sitting on the kick stand almost all the fuel drained out into the pan.  Maybe a half of a gallon was still in the tank, and most of that drained out when it was sitting on the workbench.  I am wondering if you petcock or filter is clogged.

Note watch that filter if your pulling the petcock.  Mine fell off inside the tank and it is not fun to get out.
Don't tell me about your "gonna do" projects.  Just do it already.  I don't want any coulda, shoulda, woulda in my life.
