I poled those who were in attendance  at the ride  (me) and  we decided  to postpone the ride until   two weeks from now , the destination will be Supi on the Grand Canyon , I really want to see it as I haven't been to the canyon since I was 15.
While I was looking forward to seeing other Visionaries, I started the AZROV in jest . Everyone  was having group rides  and I though I'd have some fun with it. Kingman is along way from anywhere and I don't blame anyone for not spending the money on gas, to get here.
I'll arrange to post pics of Supi and the canyon after the ride .

I've been listening to Sara Brightman on TV in the next room , doing the Phantom of the Opera, I'm going to have to get a CD of her work, she's phenomenal!

Doesnt look like I'll be in on this one.  I start my new job today and vacation will be scarce for a while.

I would be tickled to have you guys show up! I didn't expect anyone  to arrive, but to have 4 or 5 visionaries even consider coming was just great! Besides, it gives me time to do something about my brake discs.

Depending on the dates, a Fall ride could work for me, too.   ;D

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

I might even shoot down there for a few days just for fun :o

I'll see if the CAROV is coming down in the fall. I'll try to set the date so that as many as possible can participate.

I just reconnected with some second cousins who live in Henderson, NV.  A fall ride would be great - I can visit them, a good friend from my law school days & ride with a great group of folks - or just "settle" for finally meeting Rick G in person!   ;D

I'd say odds of my attending a fall AZROV ride are in the 75% positive range as of now.  Kind of depends on how dad is doing then.

Hi Rick,
A Fall AZ ride should work for me and probably a lot of the other CROV group.  The Grand Canyon sounds like an awesome destination. Keep us posted as far as proposed dates and we'll do our best to make it out there ( from the SF Bay Area). It'd be great to see the COROV guys again; the 25th Anniversary ride was incredible. You could market this ride as the 25th anniversary for the 83 Vision... just a thought.
Best wishes, Vic

I'll have to ride out to Supi and see what the ride is like. I'm told its a pretty good road . Its 120 miles from Kingman but there is a "Gas and Grub" minimart at Truxton now about 50 miles out , so gas tank range is no longer a problem.

Well , really spring can last from late February or early March to early to late April . Depends on the weather , which can vary a great deal from year to year. This year summer has hit early and hard, temps here are running 103 to 106 , Bullhead and Havasu are running 117, 118. Phoenix area 110 to 116. I'd like to ride the Xl350 after dark, but the lights are " no bueno por caca" .I'm going to try to head up the hill to Seligman or Supi some time in July , temps up there above 6000 feet are in the high 80's low 90's
I'll get the calender out and make some suggestions about a date for the AZrov fall ride.
