I didn't want this question buried at in my Kreeme post so here goes.

Does the Vision have an in-line fuel filter, if so it it fairly easy to change? Say when you change your oil?

GT @ oh.

No fuel filter mg......It has been highly suggested however that you install a brass sintered type with the 90 degree angle ....common at auto stores......hope this helps.....type in fuel filter in the tech talk search and this is the info given.

I used Fuel Injector line on mine to reduce the Vapor Lock known to plague some Visions

I used to have a larger glass bowl type automotive filter but it seemed to slow the flow of fuel so I changed the filter and the line routing

The new filter with the 90 degree turn allowed me to make the line shorter and keep it off the hot frame.  This one came from Dennis Kirk.com courtesy of H20

I use the clear glass (Peko) units for all of my machinery, haven't had any problem with flow at any of them.  They come in 2 different lengths to fit into large or tight spaces.  As I said before, even my generators...   ;)

I've used VisuFilters, the clear plastic ones in the past with good results.

I did mine similar to kwells's with the 90 degree one after seeing how much extra line it cut out.  So long as I was changing it I switched to the fuel injection type as well, my clear tubes were just starting to yellow and harden a bit.  Only iffy part on mine is I've a slight bend in it where it goes through the round metal hole in the frame for it.  It might be because the lower section is a smidge long, or just because.  So far it hasn't seemed to affect running though so not concerned.

Ah, such fun to be out riding...

What was that?!

yeah it took a bit of time trimming to get it to make the bend at the right point...
