remove tailpipe to get to brake bolts?

 :-\ Im looking at these rear brake bolts mentioned in the "must do".. Do I have to pull the pipe? for the front one, is there room to get thru that space or is it pull the rear tire, too??  :(

you don't have to remove anything.... but removing the footpeg bracket makes finding the nut and washer , when you drop it,  easier
