Re-Vision

Search carb screw turns and you will get a lot of info. Probably find lots more with different headings.   BDC

start with 3 1/2 & adjust each for best idle plus out 1/16 -1/8 turn.  best to do this in conjunction rith carb synqing.

While I have my Vision apart for several maintenance jobs, I remembered the idle screws were set kinda funny.
The front carb is only 1-1/4 turns out, while the rear is 5-1/2 turns out.
Is there still a problem after I soaked them last spring?....or are all Visions different this way?
All passages seem clear, but I don't want to start pulling plugs.
Maybe another soak is in order....
Runs OK.....starts right up at half choke.
Choke shut off after a few minute of riding.
Synchs OK with a homemade manometer.

Run the gas through it, and good to go.
The more they drive with clean gas the better.

MusicWeb, yes, all visions are different. Carbs are generally set at the factory after they are tuned according to exhaust readings, then the passages sealed (for U.S. emissions).  Years of differences in engine wear, machining tolerances, valve wear, etc require that they now be tuned (idle adjustment & carb synq) to where they run best.

i've seen some carbs tuned where the pilot screws were as much as 4 1/2 turns out...
