Geez Brian, I've been studying O-Chem all week - while on Vacation - and that one flew right over me.  8)  I've been paying too much attention to "Aledehydes, Alcohols and Ketones".  Probably too much to the Alcohols.  :o

Great post, Brian.  Been one of my favorite articles for a while.  I've seen a few 'man on the street' interviews on the subject and the reactions are priceless.

Also like the stats on doctors.  When they have killed or injured three close family members, (like in my family), you really begin to distrust the medical profession.

The best humor is always the stuff that has a ring of truth to it.

I found that funny, and vaguely remember a guy on TV doing that on the street. Getting people to sign a petition against it. Honestly it took me a second to figure it out, but even without a chem class, I could.
