I have been having trouble starting the bike. I've clean the carbs twice in the last few days. When I put some gas straight into the top of the carb the bike fires up. When I did this I noticed that there was no flow of gas when I pulled the throttle. I pulled out the carbs again. Put them in a basin and filled the rear with gas. When I pulled the throttle lever petrol flowed from each of the accel pump nozzles.

I know the fuel petcock is fine! So does this mean I have issues with my Fuel pump?

start with the easier stuff. do you have a fuel filter? try taking off the gas cap and putting it back on. if it makes a hissing you have  vapor lock. check fuel lines as well. then pump if all fails. i guess i just have had bad experiences with my fuel "pump"  :P

Is that to say you tested it and know it is fine? Does it flow fuel when turned to prime? Does it flow fuel when vacuum is applied in the ON and RES positions?

Not that the pump can't malfunction, but it seems oft blamed for problems that turn out to be something else.
