Hi guys
I have a problem, I started my project bike today and here's  what happened the oil light didn't go out,,, but where I capped off the oil cooler it blow that off and crap loads of oil pumped out be for I could turn the bike off ,so it has pressure but the light stays on .When the bike is going the light doesn't flicker it stays on constantly..
What do I do to solve this..

Do you have the wires crossed :o i.e. The neutral and oil light switches wired the wrong way around... ???

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA lets go again baby !!!!!!

Easy enough to test it, put it in gear, if the light goes out, you have them crossed

fret not

Is this the "Lucky" design oil cooler set up, or did you do something different?

I haven't crossed the wires , and the oil light goes out when you take off the wire from the sender unit and touch anything metal on the bike..

Up Date
I have more oil pressure than I know what to do with now...
Not sure how or why but as it had a oil cooler on it ,I plugged up the ends. But Roro surgested I complete the circuit where the two pipes came out of the engine which I did now - lots of oil pressure , tomorrow I will open it up to see whats been either blocked off or re routed .
I'm a happy camper  now..

I'm confused, does the light go out now that the oil circuit has been re-established? If so, does that mean while the lines were capped and it was running and the light stayed lit, the side of the engine where the sending unit resides realized no pressure?

So you bought this bike with a cooler on it? Can you take some pictures of the engine connection points?

Ill take a picture today, but it has been modified to force oil through the cooler,
