Thanks guys, oh the fun of pulling that flywheel off again, well let you know what I find when I do it, this maybe a "after riding season" is over repair (no, no more running the Vision, I of course have the "Connie" to use). Even more thought that something has gone wrong is that this spring when I first started it after those repairs, it was very quiet, about the best i had ever heard it.

Dang, hope I can fix this, the V frankly would be fun to keep and have to ride in contrast to the "Connie", and with the new rear tire and stator would most likely need almost nothing for 2 maybe 3 years assuming I ride it enough to keep the carbs from gumming up on me.  I can license and insure it for only a $100.00 bucks a year, unlike our poor friends north of the border with their outlandish insurance rates!

I run 2  oz . of Seafoam in every other tank, to minimize gum . If your going to park it for the winter , drain the float bowls  and either fill the tank with gas and add  seafoam to it or drain it . It you drain it you need to put a cup of oil in it and roll it around o distribute the oil , to prevent rust. especially with the gas we have now!

Kind of sounds like a old xv750 I had. Problem ended up being a loose nut or bolt in flywheel region.
