As the subject says, I'm new here..Was browsing around and found this interesting board. I've bought a 1982 Yamaha Vision 550 a couple months back, needs some work to it so I'll be needing some parts soon and some tech info as well. I haven't done anything to it yet, as I've not had the time. But I'm wanting to start on it in the next couple days and hopefully fix'er up and have a great running bike..If someone has parts laying around for this bike, let me know. Like I said, I'm fixing to start fixing it up, so I'll know in the next couple days some of the things I will be needing. A shop manual would be a good start if someone has one.. otherwise I'll go buy one.

For starters..I need the two long screws that hold the starter on (somehow, somewhere misplaced mine).. I will need the left mirror and assembly, the ignition switch and key..I will need some cosmetic stuff like the plastic side pieces and all, but I'm going to wait on all that, want to make sure I'm going to get it running real good before I worry about the looks...

Sounds good to me. let me see if theres a couple more things that I need that you may have, and I'll get them all at once to save several different shipments.
Mark the book and mirror, I want 'em..
Gas tank anyone? I can probably save mine, but its got two nice sized dents in it and the inside..its pretty bad inside..

Mirror, you got it. I'm keepin the book as I got to take some stuff apart that I'd rather not mess with w/o the Haynes.

But if you don't mind waitin a few weeks you can have it then.
