wheel,, i know the fella with the two bikes in Ga, we did a few hours stripping once upon a sunny day.?

Really, this is a family friendly forum. What Kia and the guys in GA do for extra money is their own business.? Some of us do what we gotta do to buy spare parts...

Serendipity was top of her class in the MSC!!! Good job!!! I am very proud of her. I feel much better about her riding and I think she will do well.

I wanted to have the bike ready for her to try out when she came home from the class but I got another setback :( I am troubleshooting it now but I may be posting tomorrow for some help.

Just wanted to thank everyone for such a warm welcome....oh and to brag a little. ;) Tailwheel let the cat outta the bag in the previous post, but I did indeed kick butt at my MSF class! I only got ONE point on the Rider Evaluation!!! And I missed only 1 question (dur) on the written.

I was soooo nervous the first 15 minutes or so, (did I mention I have NEVER ridden a bike solo???!!) but in no time I was literally yelling "Wheeeeee!" I surprised myself with how quickly I picked it up. I obviously still have a LOT to learn and will be taking it veeeeery sloooooow for a long time but I felt really good about my performance in the class. Btw, I was riding a Suzuki GN125. Cute little bike, I started to get so attached I wanted to bring her home last night.  ;)

But I am really looking forward to gettin the Vision (soon to be plural) on the road. You can do it honey!!  :D

Hfarley: That bike maintenance class sounds really cool. I would love to take something like that. Will have to check it out locally.

Ok, I'm a dork....in case you didn't realize it the last post by "Tailwheel" was actually by me. This is the only forum we both post to, so it didn't occur to me to log him out, and me in.

Durr!

Hmmmm Vision riders stripping?? Should HFarley and I get the singles out??  ;D

kiawrench

uh,,, the stripping was done to a vision,,, , not to us !!  thought i better clear that up,, motor plow,, man , you need more bike time, lol

GA Wolf and i spent a saturday stripping a vision, turned it into crusher feed in less than two hours-- that was just after that sweet old lady ran me over with her caddy---
we stripped everything usable from the bike, and my ankle was swelling bigger andmy leg was black and blue from the knee down, wasnt long after ga wolf and his wife left that i had to cut my boot off, and made a second trip to hospital, this time i didnt leave until it was x-rayed and confirmed that i had bones broken in my ankle. --- i had to wait until the following monday to have it set correctly and a cst put on,, but was riding my v within 4 hours of the cast going on. I had to use my entire leg to work the shifter, but i was riding !!
keep your bike running, your beer cold ,and your passport handy.all are like money in the bank .

Wait a second here, let me get this straight Kia. You and GA Wolf were stripping in front of the vision? What on earth for? Wait... nevermind, I don't think I want to know the answer to that last question. I do hope that you had the right lighting in the garage for it though. :P

Serendipity- Boy do you have my number down! LOL! I'll bring some dollars and some beer. You bring the chips for the show! LOL!

Da da daa daaa..... Da da daa daaa....  :o :o :o(supposed to be stripper music)

LOL! Ok gang I think Serendipity will fit in just fine here! ;) ::)

No wonder the little old lady ran into you...she was distracted.

Tailwheel & Serendipity -

Hi & welcome - a little belated, though it may be.  Always nice to have more crazies around here.   ;D

That MSF course is great.  I finally took the beginning rider's class last summer - after over 20 years of riding.  Lots of review, but lots of great, new info as well.  Remember - there are two kinds of drivers on the road - those who don't see you & those who are aiming for you.  Stay proactive & you'll minimize the risks.

Didn't need the thought of Kia & GAwolf trying to be Chippendale's dancers - not an event I'd be bragging about.  Thanks for clearing it up, Kia!   :D

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.
