Numbers of Yamaha XZ 550
2002-01-01
It was 488 registred Yamaha XZ 550 with the modellcode YA6136.
All from year 1982.

So it seems that there is no Yamaha from 1983 in Sweden!
Not registered at least.........

from what i understand talking to Humber & others from Europe, all the xz550's were '82' style, but with the fairing & dual disk brakes, although they were sold in EU 'till 86.

you have a good resource there, in the US we have no way of knowing how many of any type of vehicle is registered...as far as i know.
