So im look ing at the things that I am going to need to make this bike complete.  Im going to need all new plastics and emblems.  The right side cover and side plastics under the seat all have cracks or the connecting tabs are busted off so they just kind of flop everywhere.  I have no emblems because the previous owner did a shotty primer black paintjob.  And the rubber gromets that hold the plastics are shot as well.  So heres the question, Where can I get these pieces and how much money am I looking to spend?
I also just got a battery companion (Like a battery tender I believe) and hardwired a quick connect to my battery so I can just plug the bike in.

Tiger has one of the plastics.... the left side cover is harder to find... there were/are some on eBay for around $20.. I have one of those with "only" one broken tab

emblems will be tough... you don't often see the "Vision" emblem separately.. they could come with the side covers, but not always.

the tank emblems are hard to find/expensive

grommets for the plastics are cheap and available at the dealer.

as with all parts for these Vs, they do come around eventually. be patient and concentrate on the mechanicals while you wait for the "farkles"

YellowJacket!

I have a couple silver "NOS" tank emblems that were for a XT550.  The have a slightly different "bend" in them for the XT's tank than the Visions tank but with a little heat will work.  They are in great shape but are silver rather than gold.  I also have 1 "Vision" side cover emblem in fairly good condition.  PM me if you are interested and I can send you some pics.  I also have some of the under seat plastics in good shape and a front fender but I want to hold onto them until yellowjacket is repainted.
Let me know if you are interested.

Hi there Packman85,

Many forum members have a variety of parts (plastics and more) including me!  :) . Feel free to use the "swap shop" section, better for scavenging parts.

Folks here will be cool about prices. As you can see in the replies, if it's easier to go for OEM or aftermarket, we'll tell you.

Let me know if I can help...

Cheers!
