This is for an 83. I have an 82. I also have a 4-5k lag. I wonder if this kit would be the upgraded jets for the 82 that would remedy this??
Theres also an 82 kit available,, fewer parts, much more money. It looks like this

I dont know if previous owner adjusted the acc. pump rod either.. could it be that simple?

The kits are NOT interchangeable. You need 2 '82 kits for your '82 carbs. I think the prices are more subject to availability than number of parts.
