Question:
1) I have a few odds and ends I'd like to paint, or get painted (subject to $$$) to match the satin black that (tiger) had done on my 83 pegs and bar upgrade! What is the best way to go abt doing that? What am i going to need to shop for?
2) I have a fairing that has 2-4 inch long cracks. Once i have fixed these and i have the fairing sanded, how would i go about painting it to match my bike ? fyi i do not have a compressor or experience :-[

 :) Raj, the footpegs, top triple tree's, risers, etc, etc, I have sand blasted first and then I prime and paint them the colour of choice...The bodywork I send out to vadasz1 for repair and repaint...Contact him to get a price ;)

 :) I need to get 14 & 15 ready and out of here for next week end. They are both headed to new owners in Oshawa via Kev10104 8)

#16, a Star Silver '82 with clear title, rolled off the back of Kev's pickup about an hour ago. Here is the first quick evaluation...

The Bad...The OEM mufflers are shot, seat is ripped beyond repair and the battery is MIA. It still has the OEM fuse box...but not for long!!

The Good...Overall, the OEM paint work is in really nice condition, complete set of plastics and a solid gas tank. Tires are good, all the electrics (lights, signal indicators, brake lights, etc) work. There is even the OEM tool kit on board!!!

Another week and I should be able to get dug in to her some... ;) Nice one Kev'... 8)

Hahahahaha...The rolling chassis!!! No gas tank, master cylinder, clutch perch, mirrors, etc...and two totes with various parts in, some not even Yamaha parts!!

I took her for a very short blast down the street before loading her up...WOW!!! she really goes well 8)
