My Oct. ride - Lake of the Pines TX Rally and Barber's Vintage Days

I'm leaving San Miguel on Sept. 30 to go to the Lake of the Pines Norton rally in E Texas then riding over to Birmingham AL for Barber's Vintage Days the next weekend. That gives me 4 days in between to just ride around and look at stuff or go to New Orleans and debauch.   ;)

Does anyone have any suggestions of anything I should see or do or would anyone like to meet up at either event?
