Ok I was playing with the bike yesterday and I was running the bike off the truck battery with some long jumper cables and one of them slipped off the ground of the bike and the bike died. Now the tach moves sporadically what do I need to look at?

first, in case you don't Know, NEVER junp a bike from a runnng car, a 4 wheelers charging system will overwhelm the bikes & you'll be buying a stator, R/R or both.

second, check your fuses & connections.  if grounding out the bike did something, it most likely aggravaded a poor connection.  you have cleaned & tightened ALL your connections & replaced thos glass fuses RIGHT?
That's Vision 101...

run the Electrosport diagnostic.  find a tach to swap & plug in as a test.

Nope didn't jump it off a running car. Just using a car battery. :)

Figured it out though it was just stuck, thumped it once with my finger and its back to normal.
