A ride for us midwestern guys.

Here is a heads up for those of us in the middle of the continent who might want to get a good ride in without travelling to Ont. ('eh) avoid those passport issues, AZ or So/Cal.
The Yamaha 650 society  has a rally in Westby WI. Over the years it has become a free for all as far as brand, style of bikes. Seriously good riding, good company and bench racing. It's based at the "Olde Town Inn" in Westby.
After being all over the place I find that some of the best roads I can get to are in my back yard, relatively speaking.
Plus a very wide range of personalities and careers are present so you can talk about anything. The over riding theme is a love of the ride.
It's over the weekend of Sept. 3-6th.
