One of the most overlooked items that need replacement during a MC carb rebuild is the o ring on the float seat .

What size are these o-rings?

I have always said, Yamaha was trying to fix a problem that did not exist with the '83 carbs. The got reports bake of problems with the '82 carbs. The problem was slow sales , leaving the bikes in the warehouse far too long, which resulted in the remnants of the factory gas gumming up the carbs. Stealers were supposed to dip them , before sale . Ya sure!
