Accelerator rod question.

I see many posts about adjusting this rod for the "Carb/Airbox Mod" and also to reduce the Vision stumble. So, I went out and checked the rod on my carb and see no threads and it will not adjust and appears to have locktite where the rod suddenly expands in size. I assume the threads are supposed to be about mid way up the rod. So does this mean my accelerator pump rod is fully compressed and the threads hidden within the female part of the rod or am I just missing something?

Thanks.

Answered my own question. It was fully compressed and would turn out after a shot of PB Blaster cleaned the gunk I thought was locktite and let the adjuster move freely.

Well wishes,

P.S. Like many here, I think PB Blaster is something one cannot do without.
